Everything you need to get Squidly running, understand what it shows you, and fix the usual hiccups.

Get started in five minutes

  1. Create an account on the account page with a username and a password (at least 10 characters). No email needed. Get a month to activate your license.
  2. Install the Squidly Setup app and sign in with the same username and password. The app shows which of your licenses are active.
  3. Click Install next to the extension you want (Squidly for Axiom or Squidly for Padre). The app copies the files and opens Chrome's extensions page.
  4. In Chrome turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked, paste the path from the app (Ctrl+V) and choose the folder.
  5. Reload the trading page once (F5). Click the Squidly icon in Chrome's toolbar and sign in with your username and password or your license key.

What the labels on the cards mean

✓ OFFICIAL

The project's own X account names exactly this coin's address. Hover to see the post that proves it, click to open it.

✕ FAKE

The X account named on this card talks about a different coin with the same name. Click to open the coin it points to.

? COPY

Another coin with the same name is already OFFICIAL on the page, so this one is most likely a copy. The question mark is there because rarely it is a different project with the same ticker.

no CA yet …

The X account has not posted an address yet. Squidly keeps checking, because the address often shows up 5 to 10 seconds after the coin appears.

Avoid

Axiom only. The coin matches a pattern that, in earlier data, ended 20% or more down far more often than average. Hover to see why. It is a warning, not a verdict.

The watch list

Click the arrow on a card to remember the coin. Squidly keeps reading its X account, even after the card has left the list, and tells you (with a sound) as soon as the address is posted. On Padre the watch list sits at the bottom right with your own notes.

Licenses and devices

  • A license works on up to 2 computers (Setup app) and 2 browsers (extension) at the same time.
  • A computer or browser you have not used for 30 days is released automatically, so a new one can take its place.
  • Need to move faster, or you hit the limit? Contact support and your devices will be freed.
  • Do not share your account. Every copy of the extension is unique to its license, and a shared copy can be traced.

Updates

The Setup app tells you when a new version is ready (a small banner at the top, and “Update available” next to the extension). Click Update, then press the reload symbol on the extension's card at chrome://extensions.

Questions

Does Squidly buy or sell anything for me?

No. Squidly only reads: public posts on X and public market data. It never trades, never asks for your wallet or your private keys, and cannot move money.

What data leaves my computer?

The Padre extension sends the coin's address, ticker and the public X links of a card to the Squidly service so it can check them. The service counts how often you use it (a number per day, nothing about what you look at). Your username is stored on our server together with a password hash. We do not collect an email address.

Does Squidly make money?

There is no promise of profit. Squidly helps you find the official coin and avoid obvious fakes and copies. In our own tests on recorded data, finding good entries works better than picking the right moment to sell, and no sell rule has been proven profitable. Memecoins are extremely risky and you can lose everything you put in.

The label does not show up on a card

Squidly needs the coin's address and an X link on the card. Cards without an X link are skipped. Also check that the right column is switched on in the extension window (New, Soon, Migrated on Padre), and reload the page once.

It says my license is used on too many computers or browsers

You reached the limit of 2 computers and 2 browsers. Contact support to free your devices.

I forgot my password

There is no password reset by email because we do not store an email address. Contact support and we will set a new password for your account.

Can I use the German version?

Yes. Click the language symbol in the Setup app or in the extension window to switch the display between English and German.
